One of the key issues with any comprehensible calendar is how to make it useful given how many events are occurring in any area, esp one as culturally diverse as ours.

To start, here are some we expect to support:

• Source – calendar of origin
• Location or distance from requestor
• Major interest area: this will be broad topic categories, like art or sports or business
• Interest Tags – ‘tags’ have shown to be  a powerful method to add details without having to pre-define the myriad of possible options.
• Date
• Price or Price range
